☼ San Pedro + La Romana + Altos de Chavón

Three tours for one price!!!

This is the opportunity to discover two fascinating cities with different Multicultural characteristic, owner of the most important seaports and agro industrial activity in the country, we drive east coastline to visit San Pedro de Macoris, city where the first important commerce establishment along of the island. Afterward we lead down to the central park and then we stop in one cigar factory to see the cigars demonstration of its manufacturing, here you can buy high quality cigar cheaper than any other place!! We will visit the municipal market to see all kind of fruits, vegetable and Dominicans products, then we continue to las cuevas de las maravillas; caves of wonders where a specialist tour guide in cave will explain all the history of this beatifull place, then we continue to La Romana,here you will have a panoramic view of the biggest and most modern sugar mill of the Caribbean area, the central park, the city hall, the beautiful Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church, here we are going to have a good delicious lunch in a restaurant of this city.

Later we drive to the artists village of the Altos de Chavon here we can walk through the narrow lanes made of coral stones, watching the Italian style architecture also constructed in coralline stones and irons. We also visit the San Stanislaw church preferred for many famous personalities to celebrate their weddings. The tainos Indians art ,utensils and then we have a break to take some pictures of the amazing view of Altos de Chavon river, where different movies have been filmed like Apocalypses Now, Jurassic park and Rambo.
